Beekman's Big Deal

    In the book Beekman’s Big Deal, Beekman just moved into a new house and is joining a new school.  He is having a tough time getting along with his other classmates.

    An example is when he and Marcus get into a small fight over Marie Luis while they are in their school gym waiting for the dance music to come on.

    The conclusion is he can talk to Leo about personal things and has created a good relationship with Marcus’ sister Mary Luis.  Now he is both happy and comfortable in his new house and his new school.
