Cabin  On Trouble Creek  

          Daniel and his brother Will move to the new state of Ohio with their family in 1803.  There were rumors that Indian warriors attacked and killed some white soldiers by the creek.  Will the Indians come back?

          A part of the story is when Daniel goes to a mill five miles away.  He meets two brothers and gets some food from the mill owner.  On the way back, Daniel hears something.  He sees a dog-shaped shadow in the dense forest beyond the path.  He hurries back to the cabin, when he realizes that the shadows are wolves.  Then, he was at the cabin entrance!

          In conclusion, Daniel and Will had plenty of adventures in this new life on Trouble Creek!
