Hi! My name is Bethany. I'm in fifth grade. I have a mom, a dad, and a brother. My brother is in college but he lives with us. We moved in with my grandfather when he got cancer. Now he's in a nursing home.
I like swimming, writing, drawing, and much more. I go to Orchard School. I go to the after school program. I am in R.O.K., which means responsible older kids. We help the younger kids meet friends and help them if they need it. We are going to raise money to go on an end of the year trip to the Great Escape.
In school, my favorite subject is Math. Right now we are doing place value. I am pretty good at it. I also really like reading. Currently I am starting to read Jakarta Missing. I haven't started to read it, but I have a feeling it is going to be a very good book.
My favorite thing to do after I get home is to eat a little, do my homework, play with friends, watch TV., read a little, then go to bed. My favorite TV show is Trading Spaces on TLC. My favorite color is purple.
Lately I'm on a soccer team for our Recreation Department. It is only for girls. I'm meeting a lot of new friends. On weekends I like to hang out with my friends.
I might get a cat from the Humane Society. I really like cats. I think kittens are so adorable. Sometimes I feel bad for animals that have been injured or abandoned. I LOVE doing jigsaw puzzles. I do a lot of them with my mom. I also like doing 3-D puzzles. We have done a lighthouse, and a Christopher Columbus 3-D puzzle, we have also done some mini 3-D puzzles. That's a lot of the things I like doing, so I guess that's it. Bye!
