| I am 11
years old and I go to Orchard School. I'm in fifth grade so
it's my last year here. Then I will be in 6th grade in
the middle school. I am a little excited to go.
One of my hobbies is to sing and dance. My favorite CD is High School Musical 1 and 2. I have memorized all of the songs by heart. I make up dances to the songs and try to copy the ones in the movies. Another CD that I love is Hannah Montana. I love those songs and dances! At home, I imagine myself on stage with my microphone. Some of the sports I love are soccer, running , skiing, horseback riding, and swimming. The reason I like soccer is because I think it is a great sport and you have time to be with your friends. I like running because you can be in your own little world and just run. I like skiing because it is fun to spend time with your family. I like swimming because it is fun to just relax and just swim. I also like horseback riding; it is fun and a little scary to be up on a living animal. You never know what is going to happen when you are up there. So you just have to enjoy the ride. Some of my favorite books are Day of Tears, The Doll People, and The Penderwicks. I love mystery books because they are full of adventures and excitement. Day of Tears is about people who are slaves and are sold to different people throughout their life. The white people are the ones selling the black people. I think that it is very wrong because we are all the same in the inside but different on the outside. We are living people with the same rights even though we have different colored skin. I like The Doll People because in the book, the dolls have mysteries and adventures. The dolls are alive all the time but cannot be seen by the human people in the house. They travel throughout the house to find different things. The whole house is like the whole world to them. The Penderwicks is a great adventure story to read while you are on vacation because they are on vacation too. They meet all sorts of different people and make new friends. I like being in Mrs. Tate's class because she is a great teacher and I think that she is the best teacher I have ever had. She has taught me the most. Mrs. Tate thinks that we shouldn't just learn about the Math and the basics; she thinks that she should teach us everything we need to know about ourselves and to do our best. Some of my favorite movies are High School Musical 1and 2. I like them because they are full of problems, romance, singing and sports. I think that the movies are really good and that the 3rd one is going to be even better. My dream is to meet the High School Musical cast some day. I am going to tell you about my life. I live with my mom, dad, brother, and my dog. My dog's name is Sam . We got him a couple of months ago. Right now he is 6 months old. I used to have a cat but we had to put him to sleep because he was 17 years old. My friends' names are Julia, Natalie, Leah, Carly, Karyn, Ali and much more. Thank you for reading my webpage.
