My name is Jake.  I enjoy watching TV, playing on the computer and reading.  I live in Vermont, The Green Mountain State!  It was named Vermont because of its mountains, Ver for green and Mont for mountains.  Click here for Vermont facts.

      I go to Orchard School and I am in Mrs. Tate's Class.  My family travels to Connecticut a few times a year.  I personally think that the four hour ride is dull. 

     Some of my friends are Caleb, Matt, Connor, Yuki, Liza, Natalie, Zach, Sai, Sarah, Sara, Nicole, Vera, Alex and a lot more.  I like playing soccer.  I am good at playing forward and offense.  I like playing darts and basketball in Missy's class (the one next to ours).  My favorite book is called Inkheart by Cornelia Funke.  It is about two people who can read things out of books and replace it with something else in the world.  There is also a sequel call Inkspell with mostly the same characters.
