Capone Does My Shirts

In the DCF book, Al Capone Does My Shirts, I have learned that Alcatraz is a place for convicts and the worst of the worst. Alcatraz is in the middle of the ocean. It is a place from which no one could escape. Alcatraz would be a scary place to live and work.
Moose learns when he moves to Alcatraz that there are murderers, kidnappers, rapists, stickup men and hit men there. All the people in the jail are evil and they can kill or hurt the warden or anybody on the island. People’s lives are in their own hands. The warden does not allow weapons or anything dangerous that could harm any people on this island.
The warden told Moose that he cannot tell anyone about what he sees or hears about on Alcatraz. If the stories get too crazy, then maybe they will shut down Alcatraz and kick out Moose and his family.
In conclusion, Alcatraz is full of dangerous people that could kill or harm any people that are not bad. You take your life into your own hands when you visit Alcatraz.
