On Pointe

        When I read On Pointe, I discovered how hard ballet was.  Claire does ballet because it’s always been her dream of being in the company and once she passes, she can be on Broadway.  She was determined to follow her dream of being an adult ballerina.                                                                                         

        On the day people had the competition to be in the dance company, Claire worked her heart out and be the best.  In the end, Claire was the best, but she failed because she was too tall.  She couldn't do it anymore because in ballet you have to be short, not tall.                                            

        In conclusion, even though Claire worked hard at her dream, it didn’t come true.  I learned that ballet is not for everyone and Claire also learned it.
