Stone Fox

In this book, I learned to never push a dog too far. In the book Stone Fox, a dog dies because Little Willie, the owner of the dog, wants to enter a dog race so he can earn money for his grandpa’s house. In the race, he wins, but his dog dies.
In the book Little Willy wants to earn money because his grandfather is sick and cannot pay the bills for the house. He enters a dog sled race to win $500.00. In the race, Little Willy does not know that Searchlight, his dog, is sick. Little Willy was also hard on the dog when they were training. The dog got sort of weak.
In the end, the dog, got killed. They got to keep their house. I'll bet Little Willy got a new dog. Now you see why you should never push a dog too far.
