  Hi Reader,

    I am going to tell you a little about myself.  For starters, I am ten years old,  I go to Orchard school and I am in 5^th grade.  my teacher's name is Mrs. Tate,  I think that she is the best teacher I ever had.

    I love to play soccer.  I started to play when I was about 4 years old and I still play.   The other sports I play are basketball, swimming, and tennis.   do you think you know a little about sports and me?  I think you do too, so lets move on.

    I have 4 pets and they are all hermit crabs.  they all have names.  their names are Marvin, Melissa, Alyssa, and Alexis.

    Now I am going to tell you about my family, but I will be telling you most about me!  Let's start with my mom.  My mom's name is Melissa. she likes to play sports with me.   my dad's name is Marvin.  he likes to watch movies with the family and he also loves to paint.     

     I am going to tell you how my school year is going,  here I go, My favorite subjects are reading, writing and library.  we just finished a comic that was called "Captain Chronos," but I named mine "Captain Chronos and his family take a trip!"  The comic isn’t like any other comic.  it tells a lot of important facts about Geologic Time .  We had to include information from different eras:  the Pre- Cambrian, Cenozoic, Mesozoic, and Paleozoic.  I am having a great school year.

     in the winter I like to build snowmen and snowwomen.  I also like to go to a really big hill and snowboard or sled down it.  I am a very bad snowboarder, but I am a great slider.

    At the end of the year, I will miss the 4^th graders, but I will be ready for a new challenge when I go to the Middle School next year.   I hope I don’t get lost on my first day of Middle School.  That is a way off, so for now I will concentrate on being a good student and having a great year.
