The House Of the Scorpion

    The main character is Mateo Alcran. He is also called Matt.  Matt is a clone.  In this story, Matt gets the feeling of being treated well, then badly, then well again. He had a lot of friends until they found out that he was a clone.  One girl named Maria still liked him. At first he lived a happy life until he figured out that he was a clone.  But he was in second grade so he did not know what it meant.                                                     

    When everybody found out that he was a clone, nobody liked him except for four people.  People also called Matt "It" instead of he.

    Before someone named El Patron [the original Mattao Alceran] came, Matt was locked in a little room without any bed or cover.

    When El Patron came, Matt was treated like a prince because El Patron loved Matt very much and El Patron is a very powerful drug lord who could break any law he wanted.

    When El Patron died, Matt was sent out to live in the desert because nobody liked  him.  He almost got killed by the farm patrol.  Then he  worked at the plankton factory because he was an orphan.  What he ate at the factory is plankton burgers.  As you can see, Matt had some good times in his life and some bad times.  His life was controlled by the Mattao Alceran he was cloned from.
