My name is Layne. I'm ten years old. I am in fifth grade. I have a brother, Graham, a step sister, Michaela, another step sister, Maddie, a step dad, a mom, a step mom and a dad. We also have two cats named Merry and Nellie and I have one goldfish. I like soccer, drawing, reading and skiing. My favorite DCF (Dorothy Camfield Fisher award book) so far is Hope Was Here by Joan Bauer. I like animals and want to be a veterinarian when I get older.
I go to Orchard School. I am in Mrs. Tate's class. I like being in Mrs. Tate's class because we work as a team and we read a lot in the 4/5. My favorite subjects are Art because I like drawing and making things, Literacy because we read, and Writing because I enjoy writing stories.
