LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE
BY: LAURA WILDER

Imagine being a boy / girl and your parents decided to head West. This is how Laura and Mary felt when their parents decided to build the Little House on the Prairie.

They needed to get used to the idea, but these girls didn’t even want to experience it. Of course, they have to. When I really think about it, I’d be worried about all the hazards and how will they survive.

This book tells everything and more about the exciting story of how four people survived the wilderness of the West.

It’s 1870 and Laura Wilders is about to experience a once in a lifetime trip out West. Mary, her older sister, already knows about the trip.

Laura tells the story through her sister’s and her own eyes. When Ma and Pa decide to split up from the pack, it’s bad news. First, they need to use their surroundings to make a house and survive through the winter.

It’s 1879 and the little house is a success. When the Indians see the smoke from the fireplace, it’s not that great to think about. The Indians enter. They want to know what the Wilders are doing! Who are they and why were they there? Mary and Laura hide behind a thin board. One move could have them scalped.

I hope you enjoy reading the Little House on the Prairie.
