Angela's Book Review

The Birchbark House
By Louise Erdrich

In a foreign land where the Native Americans used to stay, there was a girl.
Omakayes, who was very spirtual in everything she did. If she forgot her dreams, she would be punished.

Omakayes was very understanding because she had a vain sister named Angilena who could be cold hearted. Omakayes would forgive her sister. Omakayes had a simple life because she respected her family and land and because she was not arrogant. She never took anything for granted. She knew that her land and family would be gone. So she vowed to respect. While she was living.

You should read this book because it gives suspense and adventure.
