I am reading a book called Green Mountain Hero. I like it because it’s adventurous and exciting. It made me smile. At times I felt like crying. There were many emotional times as I read the book.

It almost made me cry when they were cutting down the tree and Amos yells, "Look out!" Solomon jumps away, but Amos doesn’t get away in time. It is adventurous when the pack of wolves come and make a semi circle around Amos and Solomon. It was exciting when Amos and Solomon found the spot where they were going to build a log cabin. "We might as well take time to build a good shelter," said Amos. It was also exciting when Solomon found and shot a bear. When Amos took a shot he said, "I must have hit him just right."

Green Mountain Hero is a book about a father and son and their travels through Vermont. They have many adventures. This is truly an exciting book that keeps you wanting more. I would like to know if there is a sequel. I want to keep reading a story that makes have feelings as I read it.
