Lake View

By Anthony

This is a picture of Lake Champlain. This picture was taken while I was walking on a trail in Button Bay State Park during Mrs. Gurwicz’s class field trip. I enjoyed seeing the view of the lake.

Lake Champlain covers four hundred ninety square miles. The maximum depth of Lake Champlain is over four hundred feet. It is the sixth largest lake in the United States. There were battles fought on Lake Champlain during the Revolutionary War and the War of 1812. There is a legend that a sea monster named Champ lives in Lake Champlain. I have never seen Champ, but I believe he exists!!!
