Dunder Rock

Dunder Rock is an ancient rock that’s been in Lake Champlain since the beginning of time. The Native American legend about Dunder Rock is that their god, after making the world, placed himself in the middle of Lake Champlain, and turned into stone. Samuel de Champlain named it, after his bravest sailor. The picture at the top is of Dunder Rock as it looks today.
