Cove
By Anna
Here is a cove on Lake Champlain at Button Bay. Button Bay is a two hundred fifty-three acre park. Buttons are clay deposits found along the shoreline. People go there to look for these buttons.
Button Bay was opened in 1964. It was once operated as a farm. The State Park is located on a bluff in Ferrisburgh along Lake Champlain. Lake Champlain has been visited by Samuel de Champlain, Ethan Allen, Ben Franklin, and Benedict Arnold……… many campers, many tourists, and us!!!!!
