Crack! I am playing baseball in the
spring. Hello! My name is David. Do you like
football?
Baseball? I do. You can learn a lot about it on my web page. In
fact, you will learn a lot about me too.
I am ten years old. The members of my family are William, Sara, Dad, and Mom. Some of my friends are Hunter, Conner,Re`gal, Rory, Adam, Michael, Jacob, Jack, Chris, Hans, Nick, David M and Ned. My all time favorite food is sushi. My favorite thing to do is play with my friends in the nieghborhood. Crack! I just hit a single. Wait... no... a double! No! No! No! It`s a triple! In the spring I played baseball. My team was the Giants. We went to the finals. We lost 16-14 but I still had fun. During the season I hit a triple. That was my best hit of the season. Crash! I just hit a lineman! Out of the way! In the football season starting in the summer I played on the line. My favorite play was when my friend Hunter, the quarterback, pretended to snap the ball. The ball went to Tommy, the running back. He got the ball and ran it for a touchdown. It was a trick play. Mrs. Gurwicz is my teacher for fourth and fifth grade. We are learning about the Colonial times. My favorite thing that we have learned about so far is volcanoes. My favorite subject in school is Book Buddies. I also love P.E. My favorite part about fourth grade was that we got to meet new people and I learned about fun things. I also did P.I.P's which are very fun projects where I can do research on any subject that interests me. In school I can do projects about volcanoes, countries, and anything I want. My favorite project that we did in fourth grade was when we had to make a volcano and write a paper about it. On the day before Thanksgiving vacation the whole class brought their volcanoes to share and erupt. My volcano erupted with baking soda and vinegar. It was very fun, but the whole room was smelling like vinegar. My volcano erupted on one side and it almost got on my shirt. At the end of the day I had to throw away my volcano.
