Hello, I'm Kevin.  I'm in Mrs. Gurwicz's class.  I am a co-editor of the Orchard Blast.  This is my web page.  To find out about my family, hobbies and interests keep reading. 

            My family are all Chinese.  Only my mom, dad , sister  and I live in the U.S.  All my other family members are in China.  I have a sister who is almost five and will be coming here (Orchard) next year.  She is sometimes annoying but mostly good.  My mom is a accountant for Kaycan.  She went to college at the age of 16.  My dad teaches economics at UVM. 

              My dad is the youngest in his family by a lot and had children late so some people in my generation are already 42.  Some people in the generation below me are 16.  My dad's parents are both dead because his side is older.  

            My mom's side is balanced and people in my generation are about my age.  My mom is the oldest in her generation.  She has two little brothers.  Her parents are both still alive.  

            I am a fifth grader in Mrs. Gurwicz's class.  I am ten and will be turning 11 on 6/24/05.  Math, history, science, and music are some of my favorite subjects.  I especially like math and history of all my favorite subjects.  I like to work with #'s and algebra.   I study history at school and by watching the History Channel.  I also watch the Discovery Channel.  I am especially bad at gym and good at math.  My hobbies include piano, guzheng(a Chinese Instrument), TV, legos, game boy, and reading.  When I watch TV I usually watch the news because my dad canceled the cable an that's all that is on.  Before when there was cable .  I liked to watch Nick, Cartoon Network, History Channel and the Discovery Channel.  I really like to read.  Some of my favorite authors are Roald Dahl, Sharon Creech, and J.K. Rowling.  I spent last year in Changchun, P.R. of China.  In that one year my Chinese greatly improved and I learned how to play the guzheng.  It is a string instrument with 21 strings.  You tape little picks on the thumb, pointer, middle and ring finger on each hand.  The sports that I play are skiing, soccer, ping-pong, and tennis.
