ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK 
                                            

The Rocky Mountain National Park is in Colorado .   A dedication ceremony opened Rocky Mountain National Park in 1915 . When you go to the Rocky Mountains , you feel like you're in the top of the world . You can look down and see clouds below . The highway is 12,183 feet  (3,713 meters) above the sea level . The park is 80 kilometers big . The winter is a bit colder than ours . 

ANIMALS , PLANTS 


There more than  100 species of flowers and plants in the Rockies . The pica is a kind of rabbit.  Pica means rock rabbit . The nutcracker is a kind of bird . The nutcracker belongs in the crow family .A moose is the biggest animal in the Rocky Mountains. A moose is the biggest animal in the deer family. The elk the biggest animal after the moose . Elk is in the deer family . Each side of the Rocky Mountains is two different worlds . The east side of the Rockies is much more warmer and it has many more plants and animals and many more creatures too. Bighorn is the  most popular animal in the east . You can see a lot of sheep and horses in the east too .
