Mount Hood is
Oregon's tallest peak. Mount Hood is 11,239 feet or3,426 meters. Mount Hood
grows a lot of apples. Mount Hood is an inactive volcano. Mount Hood
hasn't erupted for about 100 years but scientists believe that it could erupt
within the next 75 years. It is in Oregon. It is covered with glaciers.
The first wedding held on Mount Hood's summit was in July
1915. Mount Hood Meadows Ski Area covers 2,159 acres, with 240 acres of night skiing.
Do you want to be a park ranger? Well you can and if you want to be a good
one then you should listen to what they do. Park rangers have a lot of
responsibility. If you need help look for the park rangers. They wear old
time clothes. They help a lot of people. They protect the wilderness. Park
rangers preserve a lot. They show a lot of nature. When you grow up I'm sure
you'll be a good park ranger.
