Katmai National Park
Katmai National Park is in Alaska. Natural wonders include nine active
and dormant volcanoes. A volcano erupted and it made a big crater . The
park is 4,093,000 acres. The coastline has narrow fjords, sea bays,
rocky headlands, estuaries and islands. There are wolverines, owls, 150
species of birds and 28 types of fish. There are 6 kinds of sea mammals
and moose too. There are also water plants. Katmai was made on September
24, 1918.
Do you want to be a park ranger? Park rangers have a lot of responsibility.
They fight fires. They keep people out of the wilderness. They rescue people.
