Hawaii Volcanoes National Park

Hawaii National Park is in the southeast of Hawaii. It is very close to the south cape of  Hawaii. Hawaii  National Park was made on the first of August 1916 as Hawaii National Park and on the twenty-second of September 1961 its name was changed from Hawaii  National Park to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. It was formed by erupting volcanoes in that area. Lots of adventuresome travelers came to see it. Hawaii Volcanoes  National Park is the result of  70 million years  of  volcanism. Hawaii Volcanoes National Park has the two most active volcanoes in that area. People can not go in the volcanoes.   Pigs, wolves, hawks, honey creepers, happy face spiders and hoary bats live there.   People  harvest sweet potatoes, taro and other  crops.
The park rangers have a big responsibility. They show a lot of nature to you  They guide you through the park. The park rangers help and protect the animals and teach you how to help the animals in the park. The park rangers help people who get lost in the park. Sometimes the park rangers can't use machines in the park  to help  people. Sometimes  the  park rangers have to put out fires from  people.
