Persephone The Tale of Beauty, Power, Love and Plain Old Fun By.Kallie
Once Upon A Time, in a land
far, far away. In a time
long, long ago, lived a fair maiden.
In her mother’s stomach!
“Her mother’s stomach?” exclaimed Amber.
Quigly said, “let’s get to the fair maiden and not have you go off.”
“Okay,” said Amber. “But
first know I’m Amber I watch over Persephone the fair maiden.
He’s Quigly, he’s my brother, he knows all about the gods and
goddesses.”
The fair maiden was born the baby of
Demeter, the goddess of grain harvest and fertility.
Persephone was the daughter of Zeus the god of all gods.
Zeus had a lot of affairs and never had time for Demeter’s
daughter.
“Amber speaking! You
probably want to know this fair maidens name, its Persephone.
Well anyway back to the story.”
Zeus was more concerned about Aphrodite because she was so beautiful.
Athena and Persephone were just waiting for their dad Zeus to come
back with Aphrodite.
“Guess where they went? The
Enchantment, it’s a restaurant where magical things happen,” Quigly
exclaimed.
You enter in an elf door it’s teeny tiny in a mushroom, you can only go
if you’re a god or goddess or if you’re with one.
“It’s
really nice. I went there
with Persephone,” Amber said.
Persephone was 13 and needed to find a husband to be. All the boys wanted to be with Persephone but she could pick
only one.
“Amber let’s go back to the day she picked her husband to be,”
Quigly suggested. “She
picked… drum roll please,” said Demeter excitedly.
“ Hercules! Congratulations
Hercules”
“ Thank you, it’s an honor. I
got picked out of about 100 boys,” said Hercules.
Hercules was 14. He
was the strongest god and boy. Persephone
and Hercules had everyone bow down to them even Zeus.
“Did I mention Zeus does not bow down to anyone or Demeter is with
Poseidon?” asked Amber.
“ Now!” said Quigly.
They are a very happy couple and Persephone is much happier with Poseidon
than Zeus. Persephone was the
aunt of Artemis. One day
Artemis asked Persephone if they could go to the village because she
wanted to talk. Persephone
and Artemis were more like sisters than aunt and niece.
Artemis just wanted to say how much she cared about her aunt. After,
Persephone lived a happy life with Hercules, Demeter, Poseidon, Artemis
and everyone else except Zeus. Zeus was miserable and had no bride, friends, and he didn’t
even like himself. On the
other hand Persephone had a great life with all her family and friends. The End! |
