AARRFF (Amazing Accomplishments of Real "Ruffers" Form Friendships)

Students will collaboratively exchange stories about accomplishments or accounts of dogs that they feel are special.

The International Newsday Project

Upper elementary students will produce a newspaper, based on a pre-selected theme, in collaboration with a group of other schools. Register by September 26! Click here to see how this project might address VT Standards.

Guess the Book

After reading a book, students will compose a list of at least ten objects that deal with the book. The lists will be posted on a web pages for others to guess.

Fractured Pig Tales

Third grade students are looking for different versions of The Three Little Pigs and other fractured fairy tales written by other students.

Scooby Doo, Where Are You?

A traveling pet, Scooby Doo, will be sent to participating schools with a journal for students to write about their region. There will be a packet of materials on West Virginia for participating classes to keep.

Traveling Buddy

Host a traveling bear and e-mail this class from Illinois.
