The International Newsday Project |
Upper elementary students will produce a newspaper, based on a pre-selected theme, in collaboration with a group of other schools. Register by September 26! Click here to see how this project might address VT Standards. |
Guess the Book |
After reading a book, students will compose a list of at least ten objects that deal with the book. The lists will be posted on a web pages for others to guess. |
Fractured Pig Tales |
Third grade students are looking for different versions of The Three Little Pigs and other fractured fairy tales written by other students. |
Scooby Doo, Where Are You? |
A traveling pet, Scooby Doo, will be sent to participating schools with a journal for students to write about their region. There will be a packet of materials on West Virginia for participating classes to keep. |
Traveling Buddy |
Host a traveling bear and e-mail this class from Illinois. |
