 We arrived early to get good seats for the well-attended occasion. Students poured in from all over the state of Vermont to hear Elizabeth Winthrop, the bestselling author of over 50 books, including the 1987 DCF Award winner, The Castle in the Attic. |

 Counting on Grace takes place in the mill town of Pownal, Vermont in 1910, a time when child labor was common. |
