Hannah, Meghan, Sarah and Drew represented Orchard School's fifth grade at the D.C.F. Award Ceremony at Vermont Technical College in Randolph, VT.  Here, the students are meeting Christopher Paul Curtis, the author of the winning book, Bud, Not Buddy.


Mr. Curtis made a humorous and interesting speech.


He answered many questions from the audience.

We enjoyed meeting this wonderful, funny author.  He personally autographed our books and took time to chat with us.  We had a GREAT time!
