The Story of
Christine
Christine was born in the town of Middlesex, Vermont and she grew up in Putlinville, Vermont. She was an only child and she lived with her mom, dad and grandmother. Christine lived on a farm when she was little. She got her first dog when she was three years old. It was a Boston terrier. Christine went to a one room schoolhouse with eight grades. At recess, they played all kinds of sports. One of them was baseball. Once, Christine hit the baseball just right and hit it over the road and into the field. Everybody started laughing. It was a real sight! They had great teachers. All the teachers lived next door. It was a one room schoolhouse. Her father had an old Ford that he drove around and they had another car that the family drove. Christine’s family used to like to go on picnics and they would go to lakes. Her mother would pack a lunch and they would spread a blanket and have a splendid lunch. Christine used to look up to her grandmother and mother. They were both lovely ladies. Her father was a very nice gentleman. And they all lived in peace together. One of the biggest deals for Christine in the holidays was the Christmas tree. And they always had lots of company for the holidays. This is my story from Christine, who lives in South Burlington, Vermont. |
