On Friday, September 24, 2004, students in the second through fifth grades climbed 968 foot Mt. Philo in Charlotte, Vermont in a "Hike for Hunger." They raised $2,869 to help bring an end to childhood hunger in Vermont. Orchard School was one of seventeen schools across the state that joined in this year's hike.
